Detectives assigned to the Economic Crimes Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a credit card fraud suspect from unincorporated Clearwater.
When:
The theft occurred on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at approximately 1:24 p.m.
Where:
The theft occurred from a victim in the Clearwater area. The suspect then used the victim’s credit card information during a transaction at Walgreens located at 30288 U.S. Highway 19, North in Clearwater.
Why/How:
Pinellas County detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a credit card fraud suspect from unincorporated Clearwater.
According to detectives, the suspect obtained the credit card information of the victim from the Clearwater area on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. The suspect then created a cloned card and used it at a Walgreens store located at 30288 U.S. Highway 19, North in Clearwater.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic female with long straight black hair, who was last seen wearing a black and white striped dress and dark sandals.
The suspect was seen driving a dark colored 4 door sedan in the parking lot of the Walgreens.
The investigation continues.
