Detectives have arrested a Palm Harbor man for one count of Capital Sexual Battery and two counts of Lewd & Lascivious Molestation.
When:
The incidents occurred with both victims on multiple occasions over the past seven years.
Where:
The crime occurred at a private residence in Pinellas County.
Why/How:
Deputies were contacted on Sunday, May 25, 2014 after it was reported that the suspect was found touching the 9-year-old victim in a sexual manner. During the course of the investigation it became known that the suspect had also touched another victim known to him. The second victim told detectives that the suspect has touched her in a sexual manner on multiple occasions since she was 5-years-old. She is now 13-years-old.
Through various investigative techniques, detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit, identified the suspect as 38-year-old Jason Cord Allen. An arrest warrant was issued and he was arrested in the early morning hours of Friday, May 30, 2014.
Allen has been charged with one count of Capital Sexual Battery and two counts of Lewd & Lascivious Molestation and was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.
