Deputies have advised that Mr. Edward Taylor was located at a nearby restaurant in St. Petersburg this evening. He has returned to his home and is safe and unharmed.

What:
Deputies are seeking the public’s help to locate a missing and endangered elderly St. Petersburg man. A Silver Alert has been issued for 89-year-old Edward Taylor.
When:
Mr. Taylor was last seen at about 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2013.
Where:
Mr. Taylor was last seen leaving his residence located at 2424 50th Avenue Lot# 68, in St. Petersburg.
Why/How:
According to deputies, 89-year-old Edward Taylor was last seen leaving his residence to go to the Winn-Dixie store in the area of 4th Street and 62nd Avenue in St. Petersburg. Mr. Taylor left his home in a four door, 1996, white, Lincoln Town Car with a Florida license plate reading I316IB.
Mr. Taylor has been entered into the FCIC/NCIC database and a Silver Alert has been issued. Deputies say he is endangered as he may have the onset of dementia and is diabetic. He also may not have the medications he needs for his well-being.
Mr. Taylor is a white male, 89 years of age, 5’10” tall and 180 pounds. He has green eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing light blue pants and a blue shirt.
Anyone with information that would assist deputies in locating Edward Taylor is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.
