Pinellas Deputies have arrested and charged a Largo man (Armando Sevilla-Cruz) with two counts of Attempted Murder.

At approximately 9:00 a.m. this morning deputies responded to the Sun Terrace Mobile Home Park, lot #407, due to reports of multiple victims being stabbed.  Upon their arrival, they discovered victim’s Stephanie Santiago and Henry Minniefield had been stabbed in the chest.  Deputies along with fire rescue personnel tended to both victim’s injuries and eventually transported them to a local hospital.  Both are currently in stable condition, with non-life threatening injuries.

As the investigation continued, Armando Sevilla-Cruz was identified as the suspect.  According to victims and witnesses, Sevilla-Cruz arrived at the victim’s residence early this morning and an altercation ensued shortly after.  During the confrontation, Sevilla-Cruz brandished a knife and stabbed both Santiago and Minniefield in the chest.  Sevilla-Cruz fled the scene but was apprehended by deputies a short time later.

When questioned about the events, Sevilla-Cruz admitted to the allegations.

Sevilla-Cruz is currently being held at the Pinellas County jail.  His booking photo will soon be available on our website at pcsoweb.com under the “Who’s in Jail” link.
